LỖI KHÔNG MOUNT ĐƯỢC EMAIL DATABASE DO DIRTY/CLEAN SHUTDOWN


Các mailbox database của Exchange dễ bị corrupt vì ngắt ổ đĩa, mất điện hoặc server treo tắt ngang; database càng lớn càng dễ bị corrupt. 

Vì vậy mình nên chia ra nhiều database nhỏ để ít bị, và nếu có bị thì thời gian sửa database cũng nhanh hơn

Đây là 1 ví dụ về lỗi bị ngắt ổ đĩa làm hư database

Couldn't mount the database that you specified. Specified database: DB-MB; Error code: An Active Manager operation failed. Error The database action failed. Error: Operation failed with message: MapiExceptionJetErrorRequiredLogFilesMissing: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-586)


  • Đầu tiên: chạy lệnh kiểm tra trạng thái (state) của database

        eseutil /mh “path of priv.edb”

  • Nếu là "Clean shutdown": 
    • Xóa hoặc move hết log file qua nơi khác
    • Cho "force" mount lại mailbox database: mount-database "database-name.edb" /force
  • Nếu là "Dirty shutdown":
    • Backup/copy lại file database
    • Xóa hoặc move hết log file qua nơi khác
    • Sửa database: eseutil /p “database-name.edb”
    • Cho "force" mount lại mailbox database: mount-database "database-name.edb" /force
